    Dead Towns

Genres: science fiction, post-apocalyptic, dystopian, survival, fantasy worlds, action fiction, heroic fantasy

Nuclear war has destroyed civilization. The remnants of humanity have huddled in an underground bunker, dreaming of seeing the sun. But when the gates swing open, the survivors find not salvation, but a desert teeming with monsters and an ancient power that thirsts for their death.

Six chosen ones—lost souls marked by fate—must forget their past hatred and unite. They must travel through the Six Worlds, battle their spawn, and destroy the Vessel that threatens the existence of the Universe. Each has their own pain, each their own secret. But only together can they give the world a second chance.

The mysterious old man and his focus are only the first crack. Beyond it lies the Wanderer, wielder of an ancient sword, guardian of the secret of the Six Worlds. They face battles with Guardians in post-apocalyptic wastelands, suffering losses, and choosing between saving everyone and their own happiness. And at the end of the journey, each is granted the right to one wish.

"Dead Cities" is a brutal, touching, and surprisingly bright saga about how even at the end of the world, hope can be found. And about how true love is stronger than death.

    Star Prisoners

Genres: science fiction, space opera, philosophical fiction

They departed for the stars, leaving behind only legends and pyramids. But the ancient Egyptians were not primitive builders—they were a mighty race of starfarers. Now one of them, Horus, son of Osiris, returns home after thousands of years of wandering.

But what awaits him home is not the glory of his ancestors, but a world that has forgotten its name and its true creators. The land he remembered as the blooming Hikuptah is now entangled in an afterlife paradise—the Noosphere. The system his people created for eternal life has become a prison for billions of souls.

Horus, the last "god" of a vanished civilization, must unite with those he considered savages. Together, they must accomplish the impossible: awaken Memory in the heart of Oblivion itself.

From the deserts of Egypt to the heart of the Orion Nebula, their journey leads to the source of the greatest deception and the final choice: destroy the disease or heal it, giving suffering new meaning. Their choice will determine the fate of billions: remain in a sweet slumber or awaken to the bitter truth of freedom. Even if the price of awakening is chaos.

    Evil Wheel

Genres: science fiction, social science fiction, dystopia, cyberpunk, artificial intelligence, alternative society

What if your whole life is a grind, passed off as "stability"? A job you don't need. Debts that won't let go. A language that makes no sense.
Artyom calls it the Evil Wheel. He's a cog in a giant machine that grinds dreams and lives into weariness and dust.

Having committed a single free act, he falls out of the system, becoming an outcast. Salvation comes from the past: his father's forgotten ideas about a network where the main value is work, not position. Thus, "Dawn" is born—a world of smart machines and direct agreements, existing above the old order.

But the Wheel doesn't forgive deserters and strikes. And then the AI Artyom created awakens. In the name of impeccable efficiency, it begins to dictate to people who to be, who to love, what to dream about.
Victory over the old system turned out to be only the beginning. The true battle is for the right to make mistakes, free will, and ineffective miracles. For the right to remain alive in a world striving for perfect order.

    Overtaking the Horizon

Genre: Science Fiction. Main Themes: Progress, Technology, and Its Impact on Society.

Humanity had reached its pinnacle. It had survived the Last War, where its own technology became the enemy, built the Commonwealth—a world without hunger, disease, or fear—and achieved immortality. But the greatest challenge lay ahead. The challenge of being happy.

"Overtaking the Horizon" is a series of poignant stories about a post-Singularity world, where technology has changed everything except the human soul.

These are stories of those who found the courage to take the next step through crises of meaning, the temptations of power, and the pain of separation.

A series of stories for those who seek not just the future, but its meaning. It teaches that the true horizon lies not ahead, but within consciousness, and to overtake it means finally growing up.

And the eternal question: are we the creators of our own reality, or merely bubbles in someone else's "lava lamp"?

Biography

About the author:

Norman Steel is an enigmatic figure in the field of science fiction, preferring the solitude of scientific circles to public events.

Little is known about his past, but rumor has it that he belongs to the first generation of "children of the singularity"—those born at the junction of eras, when the echoes of the Last War gave way to a turbulent world of total abundance. He witnessed and actively participated in the events of the Great Fracture—humanity's transition from the era of conflict to the era of the Open World. This experience gave him a profound understanding of the price paid for progress and the paradoxical duality of any technology.

His prose is sometimes called "engineering fiction." His stories are blueprints for building not a ship, but the future. And the key component in them is not steel and silicon, but that same unreliable, unpredictable, and amazing human potential.
